Rising Star Resource Development Corporation is seeking a Field Facility Supervisor to oversee the daily delivery of custodial and grounds maintenance services across multiple state-operated facilities. This is a working supervisory role with approximately 50% of the time allocated to our Denison, TX location and additional oversight responsibilities in Sherman and Paris, TX. The Paris location is projected to start in September 2025 and will require pre-launch planning, staffing, and mobilization.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in landscaping and environmental cleaning, possess strong leadership skills, and be capable of managing multiple teams across remote sites. This role ensures that services are delivered in compliance with contract requirements and Rising Star's performance standards.

Essential Functions:

• Lead and supervise grounds and custodial staff (10-14 employees) across three locations.
• Coordinate and schedule daily work assignments, ensuring consistent delivery of contracted services.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer site managers and Rising Star leadership.
• Ensure safety practices are followed in compliance with OSHA and federal guidelines.
• Monitor employee timekeeping and attendance using Rising Star's Applicant Tracking System (HIRE).
• Conduct quality control inspections and resolve service issues promptly.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including zero-turn mowers, edgers, and spreaders.
• Provide operational support and field assistance as needed to team members.
• Plan and prepare for start-up operations at new sites, including recruitment and equipment procurement.
• Maintain supply inventory and oversee preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Conduct coaching sessions, performance evaluations, and issue disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Identify operational efficiencies and opportunities for account growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in facility services or grounds maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with landscaping and custodial operations in commercial or government settings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and mobile apps related to workforce management.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make field-level decisions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites using a company vehicle or personal truck/trailer.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in outdoor environments year-round.

Technical Skills:

Must have proficient supervisory experience. Strong working knowledge of MS Suite of Products (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), timekeeping via Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and timekeeping system. Landscaping skills and use of industry equipment.

Compensation : This will be an hourly position, see below for wage range: $20.00 per hour
