Performs routine public works and/or utility maintenance and repair. Performs other duties to include assisting other Public Works divisions as required. Examples of Duties The following duties are typical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competence and satisfactory performance of these duties. Other duties may be required and assigned. Performs utility field work related to Public Works maintenance and repair. Divisions include sanitation, streets, parks and recreation, and distribution/collection. Assist field crews with installation, repair, maintenance of parks, city streets, residential and commercial pick up, and water/wastewater infrastructure Drive and operate heavy equipment for divisional maintenance/repair activities. Services equipment and City vehicles with water, gas, oil and air.
