Job Summary: The Registration/Scheduler personnel is responsible for admitting patients, imputing patient information into the computer system, working the switch board, and verifying insurance coverage and benefits for patients. Provide financial counseling for each patient regarding any payments due at time of service. Will cross train into scheduling to schedule cases and procedures for the Radiology Department. Must have the ability to handle difficult situations and work varied shift hours.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Required Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Previous registration or medical business office experience preferred.

ICD 10 and CPT code knowledge

Must have excellent customer service skills.

Excellent computer skills

Ability to handle upfront collections.

Must have the ability to work varied hours and days.
