Rising Star Resource Development Corporation (Rising Star) is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation and Social Enterprise. Job Skills / Requirements
Rising Star is looking for a flexible and experienced grounds maintence and mower capable of maintaining properties. The candidate needs to have experience mowing, including riding lawn mowers, and keeping the landscape clean with weed eaters and manually pulling out vegetation. Services normally performed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and Fridays based on weather conditions. No weekend work is required.

Essential Functions:

• Cut lawn using 60 inch zero radius mower, push mower, edge trimming and weed eaters.
• Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, red ants, etc.
• Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth.
• Sweep and clean walkway of debris.
• Landscape cutting and pulling of shrubs and weeds.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail.

Education/Experience:

• 1 plus years experience on zero radius mower.

Work Location: Denison, TX

Compensation : Competitive salary- $13.00/hr - $15.00/hr
