DescriptionPerforms preventative maintenance, repairs and installs materials to ensure proper operation and upkeep of facilities, general electric and plumbing systems.1. Performs regularly scheduled preventative maintenance on electrical and plumbing systems within facility to ensure proper upkeep of equipment. 2. Performs general carpentry, painting, electrical, welding, plumbing and HVAC installations as required. 3. Installs and repairs DC storage racks as required. 4. Assists with mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair of a variety of powered material handling equipment as required. 5. Maintains and completes various maintenance-related documents including but not limited to work order requests, preventative maintenance and daily job breakdown summaries, parts requests and parts purchase orders. 6. Performs semi-routine duties where some judgment is required. Work is performed under defined and uniform procedures. 7. Exhibits reasonable care and operation of powered material handling equipment. 8. Maintains the integrity of our Mission, Vision and Values statement while performing daily job duties.Qualification1. One to two years maintenance related experience is required. 2. Strong mechanical, carpentry, plumbing and A.C. electrical circuitry knowledge of 120V through 440, 3-phase required. 3. Excellent hand and eye coordination required. 4. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, utilize basic hand tools and electrical and/or electronic test equipment including volt/ohm meters and amp probes strongly preferred. 5. Ability to handle multiple tasks, be detail oriented, meet department standards and perform duties without immediate and constant supervision. 6. Ability to perform physical activity at a sustained pace within the Distribution Center environment including walking, bending and lifting is required.1. One to three years previous administrative/clerical experience is required. 2. Ability to type 60 WPM and familiarity with a variety of software packages including but not limited to Word and Excel is required. 3. Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills is required. 4. Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, telephone techniques, and office equipment, as well as English usage, spelling and punctuation. 5. Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with all associates within immediate department and other departments and to use good judgment in recognizing scope of authority. 6. Ability to handle multiple tasks, be detail oriented and maintain confidentiality. 7. Ability to perform administrative and clerical duties with speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision. 8.
