The HT Group is currently seeking a Junior Estimator who is motivated, detail-oriented and looking to be part of a successful commercial team in Buda, TX. This direct-hire position offers an excellent opportunity to work with an estimating department of professionals across Texas to assist in bid management, preparation, and collaboration within a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize bids using the company's ERP software system
• Send and receive Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Prepare take-offs using company software (STACK)
• Assist with bid preparation in Excel
• Process and create change orders
• Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure accurate and timely submission of bids

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in the construction industry
• 2+ years of experience in estimating
• Proficient in Excel (3+ years) and Microsoft Office 365
• Strong understanding of construction takeoffs
• Ability to interpret and apply construction specifications
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Field experience in Masonry, Landscaping, or Irrigation is a plus
• Bilingual Spanish - Preferred

Education:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Additional education in Project Management or Construction Science is preferred
• At least 2-3 years of construction experience may substitute for formal education in construction science.
